What Awards Has HEAVENSAKE Won?
The awards, the years and the makers.
HEAVENSAKE has received tasting medals, food-pairing awards and recognition for bottle design. A few highlights:
- Best Sake, Rolling Stone Spirit Awards 2025: PRESTIGE I with Noguchi Naohiko.
- Platinum, London Sake Challenge 2020: the historical HEAVENSAKE Junmai Daiginjo with Dassai.
- Gold Medal, 92 points, Sommeliers Choice Awards 2024: LABEL 12 with Konishi.
The year and the maker are worth keeping beside the medal. An award recognizes a particular entry, which may differ from a bottle carrying the same name today.
The register below brings together documented results from 2020 to 2026, including historical releases and bottles made for different markets. Each names the competition, year, award and winning release, with a link to its source. It is a selection of documented results, not a complete awards history.
prestige i and rolling stone
PRESTIGE I received Rolling Stone’s 2025 Best Sake award. Behind that recognition is the collaboration between Noguchi Naohiko and Régis Camus.
Noguchi-san brought previously unreleased sake from his personal archive into their work together at the Noguchi Naohiko Sake Institute. Their composition became PRESTIGE I, presented in porcelain handcrafted by Arita Porcelain Lab.
Our Rolling Stone award story follows the expression more closely. The wider record below keeps each competition’s distinctions attached to its winning entry.
